Paddle & Explore Eco Tours provides guests with a historic and ecological insight to the Namequoit River and Little Pleasant Bay. From pirates to prehistoric crabs, to shellfish farms, your guide leads you on an adventure that few people have access to. Join us as we push off and paddle into one of Cape Cod’s natural treasures filled with an abundance of wildlife.
Launching from one of New Englands last wooden boat builders, Arey's Pond offers visitors the quintessential feeling of being in "old Cape Cod." After a brief land based introduction, the adventure begins. Navigating through historic wooden boats gives you the sense of going back in time. Our two resident seals, Steven Sealberg and Sealena Gomez may welcome you with a splash of their fins. Glancing up may get you a glimpse of our visiting osprey or resident red tailed hawk. As you enter the Namequoit River, the sights and sounds of nature continue with a scurring striped bass or slow moving horseshoe crab. As the river opens to Little Pleasant Bay, distant islands and remote beaches showcase the areas beauty.
